Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently reacted to a claim which has been made regarding the club’s on-loan attacker Gareth Bale.
In a recent report for The Athletic, Charlie Eccleshare claimed that the Welsh winger has been delivering ‘hugely impressive performances’ in training.
Eccleshare also stated his belief that Bale will likely be situated on the bench for the game against West Ham United unless Jose Mourinho ‘cannot resist the temptation‘ to start him following his performances in training.
When this report was relayed to Twitter by Hotspur Related, it was stated that Mourinho had been ‘hugely impressed’ by Bale’s performances in training.
Lots of supporters then flocked to the claim to air their responses.

Since his return to the north London club, Bale has been recovering from a knee injury which he suffered while on international duty with Wales (via The Mirror).

During his six-year stay with Spurs between 2007 and 2013, Bale made 203 Tottenham appearances in which he scored 56 goals and provided 58 assists (per Transfermarkt).
In his final season with the club before joining Real Madrid, the 31-year-old Welshman netted a whopping 21 goals in 33 top-flight appearances (per WhoScored).
