Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs-focused Twitter account @thespursweb which relays an update on Lilywhites left-back Danny Rose, who is said to be ‘training with the Spurs academy as he still attempts to find a move away’ from the north London club.
This tweet cites The Telegraph as the source of this update on Rose and this comes after The Telegraph recently published a report on the 30-year-old left-back, in which it was stated that Rose has been training alone and with Tottenham’s youth sides this term.
This article states that there seems to be ‘no chance of him being reintegrated at Spurs’ as he is set to be omitted from the Lilywhites’ squad for the Premier League and their squad for the UEFA Europa League for the 2020/21 season.
After this reported update on Rose was shared by @thespursweb via a tweet, plenty of Tottenham fans replied to their post to share their thoughts on this news.

Some Tottenham supporters shared some sympathy for Rose in response to this tweet.
Danny has been at the club a long time, its a shame its going to end this way.

He’s one of my favorite Spurs players from recent years, that 16/17 season he was fantastic. Shame to see him go out like this.

So, judging by these Tottenham fans’ replies to this tweet, it seems as though there are some mixed feelings about Rose amongst Lilywhites supporters at present.
If this negative update on the player is true, then hopefully, for Rose, he can find a new club sooner rather than later, in order to put this chapter behind him and with a transfer to an EFL club remaining a possibility until 16th October, perhaps a move to a lower division should be on the 30-year-old’s mind.
