How well can you remember the last few weeks of Spurs action? 1. Which played scored a hattrick against Maccabi Haifa?

The Football.london reporter spent most of the video discussing Spurs’ Europa League defeat to Royal Antwerp, and he had harsh words for most of the Tottenham squad.

One of the players that he was not happy with was Sergio Reguilon, who earned a pretty poor rating of 6.53 that made him Spurs’ fourth best player in the match.

However, it seems that Gold was not impressed with the 23-year-old Spaniard’s performance at both ends of the pitch.

He said: “You know I think Reguilon is fantastic, he’s a brilliant player.

“I didn’t think [Thursday] night was his best game so far.

“[It’s] possibly the weakest [game] he’s had, in both senses: attacking-wise, probably wasn’t up to too much; defensive-wise, they got by him a few times.”

Were you unhappy with Reguilon's display?

TIF Thoughts on Gold’s view of Reguilon’s performance…

Since signing from Real Madrid in the last transfer window for £27m, Reguilon has played six games in all competitions and some of his performances have been good, earning a 7.44/10 rating against LASK and a 6.95 rating against Manchester United.

So, looking at his form for most of the season so far, this does look like it was just a blip from Reguilon, and though he wasn’t great, he wasn’t Tottenham’s worst player on a dreadful night for Spurs.

So, we can see why Gold is disappointed with the £25.2m-rated Spaniard’s performance.

However, he still clearly rates the Spaniard, and judging by his performances in the Europa League and the Premier League so far, then we can see why he was disappointed.

However, we will have to see how he bounces back in Spurs’ next Premier League game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
