Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from Spurs journalist Alasdair Gold. 

This comes after the journalist shared a post on his official Twitter page relaying footage originally shared by the official Spurs Twitter page of Gareth Bale taking part in a recent training session at the north London club’s Hotspur Way training complex.

The footage shows Bale scoring numerous goals in the training session alongside some of his Spurs teammates.

In the caption to his post, Gold said: ‘Somebody is ready to return.’

This post from Gold then gathered a number of replies from Spurs fans who were not shy in sharing their responses after seeing this footage of the winger.

The club originally signed the Welshman back in the 2007 summer transfer window from fellow Premier League club Southampton for a fee of £13.23 million.

After making a total of 203 appearances for Spurs in which he managed to score 56 goals and provide 58 assists, Bale made a mega-money move to Real Madrid in the 2013 summer transfer window.

Last month, Spurs managed to sign Bale once again on a season-long loan deal from the Spanish club.

Now that Gold has relayed this training footage of Bale onto his official Twitter page, this paved the way for lots of Spurs fans to share their reactions to it.

Looking at the replies to Gold’s post, it’s safe to say that these Spurs fans are very excited at seeing Bale in training for the club and are very much looking forward to seeing him back in action on the pitch in a Spurs shirt.
