Ndombele has been an important player for Spurs this season and has made seven appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals. He has made four Premier League appearances and scored for the club in their 6-1 win over Manchester United. He scored a vital goal in the club’s 2-1 win over Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the second round of the UEFA Europa League qualifying stages (as per Transfermarkt).
For his league performances, the Frenchman has picked up a rating of 6.63 so far. Ten Spurs players have picked up better ratings than him in the Premier League (as per WhoScored).
In the 2019/20 season, 12 players had picked up higher ratings than Ndombele in the Premier League. So it could be argued there has been an improvement in his performances this season.
Some other Spurs fans also reacted to the club’s tweet involving Ndombele.

These Spurs fans clearly have a lot of admiration for Ndombele and are glad to see the image of the former Lyon man.
Jose Mourinho had publicly criticised the midfielder after a draw against Burnley last season. The Spurs manager had described Ndombele as a player with ‘great talent’ but had urged him to perform better in games.
So Spurs fans can only hope that Ndombele keeps performing at a higher level and meets Mourinho’s expectations on a regular basis this season.
