Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a social media post from Jose Mourinho following the 1-0 defeat against Royal Antwerp in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The Portuguese manager shared a picture of himself on the team bus following the defeat in Belgium on his Instagram page, which was later shared on Twitter by The Spurs Web.
He said: “Bad performances deserve bad results. Hope everyone [on] this bus is as upset as I am. Tomorrow 11 AM training.”
A first-half goal from Lior Refaelov handed the Pro League side all three points in their Group J fixture, meaning that Spurs suffered defeat for the first time since the opening Premier League weekend (per BBC Sport). The defeat also means that the Lilywhites sit in second place in their group, level on points with LASK, having beaten the Austrian side 3-0 in their first group stage match last week.

No
Mourinho clearly wasn’t happy with the performance his side put in, suggesting that his squad will be back in training on Friday morning, ahead of their home fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday.
So, how did these Spurs fans react to Mourinho’s post following the 1-0 defeat against Royal Antwerp?
At least he says it how it is.
Poch would never to that— hazza (@thfchazza) October 29, 2020
This is why we won’t win the title I’m afraid. A whole squad has to be ready to step up when needed and show quality and professionalism. Didn’t happen tonight. I also have a feeling that Bale could be done and is the reason why Zidane wanted rid. He hasn’t shown anything yet.

Overall, it seems as if Mourinho’s post has split the opinion of these Spurs fans, with some praising him for his honesty, whereas others clearly weren’t happy following the defeat.
