Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have taken to Twitter in reaction to Ben Davies’ showing during the club’s win at Burnley on Monday night.
Although Jose Mourinho’s side ran out 1-0 winners in the clash at Turf Moor, thanks to Son Heung-min’s eighth Premier League goal of the season, fans of Spurs were left furious by the performance of Ben Davies, particularly while £27 million summer signing Sergio Reguilon was sat on the bench.
So, what exactly did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say about Ben Davies’ performance against Burnley?

Davies and Doherty have been absolutely rotten.
Can we ever get the full back positions right?

It is rather easy to understand why these Spurs fans appear frustrated with the performance of Davies against Burnley, as the left-back committed more fouls (one) than he made tackles (zero) in the match, while earning a WhoScored match rating of 6.47 – ranking him as the club’s fourth-worst performer on the night.
Who do you think played worse in the Burnley fixture?
Lucas Moura
Ben Davies
In fact, Davies has averaged a WhoScored match rating of 6.53 over his five Premier League appearances so far this season, ranking him as the club’s joint-13th-best performer in the league.
Ben Davies shouldn't be a starter… He must play Europa that's why we bought Reguilón…

Too busy deleting my drafts of how Ben Davies is League 2 level to really appreciate how good that Kane header was.

All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Spurs fans are not happy with the performance of Davies in the fixture against Burnley, with some even suggesting that the Welshman is of a League Two standard.
