Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report regarding the club’s potential deal for Inter Milan defender, Milan Skriniar.
According to the report by Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, Skriniar looks ‘increasingly unlikely’ to make a move to Tottenham, as the clubs are some way apart in their valuation of the £45 million-rated centre-back, with Spurs apparently only being willing to pay €30 million (£27.4 million), plus bonuses, for the defender, while Inter are looking for a figure of around €50 million (£45.7 million).
After this news was relayed on Twitter by Hotspur Related, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many left furious by the report.

Its Levy. I knew that from start of negotiations

While these Spurs fans appear frustrated by the club’s apparent lack of ambition to get the Skriniar deal over the line, it should be remembered that Tottenham have already made the signings of Sergio Reguilon, Matt Doherty, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joe Hart so far in the current window, spending a total of £57,060,000.
In addition to this, the club has also secured the loan signing of Gareth Bale, who is reported to be earning around £240k a week at the club, and are reported to also be nearing the loan signing of Carlos Vinicius from Benfica.
Do you think Skriniar will join Spurs?
Yes
No
However, despite these facts, many more Spurs fans took to Twitter to share their anger at the news regarding the 25-year-old.
Its never going to be €30 million. Both clubs know that. The Reuben Dias fee will have an affect. Levy is banking on the fact that Inter regard him as a saleable asset to strengthen other areas but it won’t be done for less than €45 million in my opinion. Just get it done Levy!

I’m going to pretend I didn’t read that https://t.co/hffrciTvOq

And there is the difference between a cub truly trying to compete and a club run by Levy. Man city need a defender, they pay the asking price £57m for Dias. Levy naa not playing unless I get my way waaaah.. absolute joke!

Fair enough! You have to pay to get top players and if Levy isn’t playing ball we deserve this!
So, so disappointing

All in all, it would appear these Spurs fans are disappointed with the news regarding Skriniar, however, there is still time remaining in the transfer window for the club to complete the deal, so, it is anyone’s guess what will happen before the window closes.
