Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting to a Twitter post from @LastWordOnSpurs in which they shared a video, originally posted by @footballdaily of Son Heung-min giving an interview following the 3-3 draw with West Ham United on Sunday.
Jose Mourinho’s side went 3-0 up inside 16 minutes but a late fightback from David Moyes’ team ensured they returned to East London with a share of the points. Son, who opened the scoring for the hosts, described the fact the Lilywhites were unable to hold on for the victory as “very sad”.
Following the clip from the South Korean’s interview doing the rounds on social media, here is how a sample of the club’s faithful have responded on Twitter.
But it keeps happening. That’s 4 points dropped at home from games we should’ve buried. Does Jose not work on defence in training?

Once again we do not know how to close a game out. WH game is built on set pieces and crosses into our box. We gave them 2 free kicks near our box and they score twice. We let the cross come in and our 2nd most inept def score an OG. Learn game management Spurs!!!!

But it will. Any Spurs fan or player knows that unless a change in mindset happens.

Are you disappointed Spurs didn't add a Premier League proven centre-back?
Yes
No
Fans flocked to the tweet to express their sympathy to Son following his interview, with many feeling he was not to blame for the team’s second-half capitulation.
He came off and it showed how much we missed of his tracking back and closing down, bale didn’t do any tracking or defending which he should of since he was fresh compared to Kane being everywhere

We badly let Kane and Son down today they were both magnificent and deserved to be on the winning side…

It’s clear from the above responses that these Spurs supporters have been left frustrated by the fact their side were unable to get over the line and take all three points from Sunday’s fixture. In a recent Premier League fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it was a similar story, although not quite as dramatic when they dominated the game against Newcastle United but fell victim to a late equaliser.
Some fans have suggested it is down to the mentality within the group whilst one, in particular, was unhappy with the amount of defending Gareth Bale did when he was brought on in the second half. In our view, it was a combination of factors that allowed their London rivals back into the game as opposed to the blame laying with one particular individual.
