Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently reacted to the latest transfer report regarding Inter defender Milan Skriniar.
As claimed in a recent report by TEAMtalk, signing a first-team centre-back still remains a top priority for Jose Mourinho.
The report goes on to state that it is thought that the north London club will renew their interest in the Slovakian defender during the January transfer window.
That report linked to another post by TEAMtalk in which Tuttosport was cited as claiming last week that Spurs had supposedly been given fresh hope of signing Skriniar as Inter had been linked with a ‘successor’ to him – that being Torino’s Armando Izzo.
This claim was recently shared on social media by Last Word On Spurs and it had lots of supporters talking.
So, what did these Spurs fans make of the transfer claim regarding Milan Skriniar?

Top 4 or not top 4… it’s up to Levy now
I’m sure the transfer fee would be paid up on qualification for CL
So absolutely get him signed. Plus get rid of the dross— Paul Jones (@1976Pauljones76) October 22, 2020
This man is the difference between top 4 and the title, get him innnnn

During the recent transfer window, Spurs were keen on signing the 25-year-old defender (per The Guardian), however, the move never materialised.
Should Spurs go back in for Milan Skriniar in January?
No, he's not that good
Yes, he's a solid player
So it should be.

So far this season, Skriniar has made two appearances in Serie A for Antonio Conte’s side, in which he has neither scored nor assisted a goal (per WhoScored).
For his performances in the two outings, he earned a fairly uninspiring 6.51/10 average rating which has made him Inter’s tenth-best performer in the league.
We’d be serious threat if we get Skriniar https://t.co/lnhgDPil2H

Please do we need experience on our defense line. No one to command the defense. https://t.co/Epooq4pasg

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs supporters, they are keen to see the club make a move to sign the £45m-rated Skriniar during the January transfer window.
