Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer news concerning Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.
This comes after Spurs podcast account @LastWordOnSpurs recently shared a post on their page relaying news published last week by the Daily Mail, which claims that reports in Italy say that the north London club could renew their interest in signing the striker, who apparently has an eye on the exit door from Napoli.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest news.
So, what did these Spurs fans make of this information?
?[@TEAMtalk] | Arkadiusz Milik is back on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar with the forward to leave Napoli and Spurs tipped to renew their interest.
?????Milik was one of two main striker targets Jose Mourinho earmarked with the other being Vinicius.#THFC #COYSpic.twitter.com/c2ieO6DWSe

Jose Mourinho’s side were heavily linked with a move for Milik throughout the previous summer transfer window but ended up signing Carlos Vinicius on a loan deal from Benfica until the end of the season instead.
Surplus to requirements now. Not needed.

Poor man’s Chadli.

The 26-year-old, who is currently valued at £28.8 million, has racked up a total of 48 goals in 122 appearances for the Italian side since he arrived at the club back in the 2016 summer transfer window from Dutch side Ajax.
I’m so used to having only 1 striker my head might explode if we have 3, suspect this is fuelled by his agent to try and stoke up some interest

Do you think Spurs should try and sign Milik?
Yes
No
This such a weird rumour. Spurs rejected him when he was offered before we got Vini.

Now that this Spurs news account relayed this information onto their page, this quickly grabbed the attention of a lot of Lilywhites fans who were not shy in airing their thoughts on the matter.
Nonsense, we bought the Brazilian.

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Spurs fans are not fully convinced by the idea of their club being interested in signing the striker. Given how they currently have Harry Kane and Vinicius in their squad, it would seem strange for the club to sign another centre-forward in the upcoming January transfer window.
