Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Fabrizio Romano states that an agreement has been reached between Spurs and Benfica for the signing of Carlos Vinicius.
In his tweet, Romano states that the deal for the £18 million-rated centre-forward is a ‘loan until June 2021’, with Spurs having an option-to-buy clause in the deal, which will be ‘around €45 million’ (£41 million), with the journalist crediting Goncalo Lopes for this information.
Romano continues by claiming that Jose Mourinho is going to approve the move and that Spurs also ‘asked for’ Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, but came to ‘no agreement’.
In reaction to his post, fans of Tottenham have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many delighted at the news that their club look set to land the 25-year-old.

The delight of these Spurs fans is understandable, as, at present, Mourinho only has Harry Kane as an out-and-out striker in his first-team squad.
With a packed fixture list ahead of Spurs, the potential addition of Carlos Vinicius will likely help to ease the burden on the England captain, who has featured in every game for Tottenham so far this season.
In terms of the player himself, Carlos Vinicius only joined Benfica last summer, in what was a £15.3 million move from Napoli, and the striker went on to have a highly impressive season in Portugal, scoring 24 goals and providing 13 assists over his 47 appearances in all competitions last term.
If Spurs do land Carlos Vinicius, do you think the club will go on to make his deal permanent?
Yes
No
It would seem that many more Spurs fans are happy with the news their club looks set to land the striker, with a great deal more taking to Twitter to share their elation.
If he's Mourinho's number one target then I have no worries. He will be good for us.#THFC #COYS https://t.co/rN9CIa9gn1

All in all, it would appear the overwhelming majority of these Spurs fans are delighted with the news their club look set to land Carlos Vinicius, and, considering how this deal will likely benefit Kane, as well as the fact the striker highly impressed for Benfica last season, we have to say, it does look like a great move by the club.
