Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Alasdair Gold relays injury news regarding Spurs midfielder, Giovani Lo Celso.
In his post, the journalist states that Lo Celso ‘has been withdrawn from the Argentina squad’ for their World Cup qualifying matches against Ecuador and Bolivia, due to a ‘left thigh muscle injury’ that also ‘kept him out of the win at Manchester United’.
In reaction to this news, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating their concern about the Argentine’s injury record.
His injury record is concerning. Always seems to have a niggle.

He loves an injury, pretty injury prone

Since moving to Spurs from Real Betis last summer, in what was originally a loan deal before the club made the move a £28.8 million permanent one, Lo Celso has so far gone on to feature 42 times for Tottenham, chipping in with four goals and providing three assists along the way.
However, it would seem that the Spurs fans above feel that the £36 million-rated 24-year-old is rather injury-prone, and it could be argued that they have a point, as the midfielder has already missed nine games for Tottenham due to injury.
Having said this, other fans of the club have decided to try and look at the bright side of the news, stating their belief that it is good the Argentine has been withdrawn from his national team’s squad, as they believe it means he can concentrate on being fully fit for Tottenham’s next fixture against West Ham United.
Do you think Lo Celso's withdrawal is good news for Spurs?
Yes

As such, it would appear that opinion is rather split on whether or not Lo Celso’s withdrawal from the Argentina squad is good news for Tottenham, with some seemingly starting to think that the player is too prone to injury, while others believe it gives him a chance to rest up for the club’s league campaign.
