Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently flocked to a Twitter post from Alasdair Gold in which he shared a link to a football.london post.
In the post on football.london’s website, Gold discussed his predicted lineup for Spurs’ Europa League clash with LASK on Thursday night.
The journalist opted for a 4-3-3 formation which had Harry Kane leading the line and predicted that Gareth Bale would start for Tottenham.
In his tweet which relayed the article to supporters, Gold stated that there were ‘plenty of options for’ Jose Mourinho (per Alasdair Gold).
Lots of fans then flocked to this tweet to air their thoughts.
So, what did these Tottenham fans have to say about Alasdair Gold’s predicted lineup?
Here's my predicted Spurs team for tonight. It really could be any blend of players once you get up into midfield and beyond. Plenty of options for Mourinho. https://t.co/cWLrrSWTJv

Surely Vinicius starts. No need to risk Kane or Son regardless of a 5 day break imo.

Unless we are in trouble I wouldn’t even play kane for a minute.

With Gold having predicted Kane to start up front for the north London club, many Spurs supporters continued to air their belief that he should be rested.
Should Harry Kane start against LASK tonight?

So far this season, the English striker has made nine appearances in all competitions for Spurs in which he has bagged ten goals and provided eight assists (per Transfermarkt).
In the Premier League, Kane has earned a stellar 8.65/10 average rating over five appearances which has made him their best-performing player (per WhoScored).
Why Kane??
Play Vinicius instead.— Sebastian O. Andersen (@sebastianoa_25) October 22, 2020

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs fans, many of them were adamant that Kane should not start in the game against LASK at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
