A lot of Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been replying to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs news Twitter account @thespursweb in which they relayed the alleged news that Spurs ‘are planning talks to terminate Danny Rose’s contract.’
The tweet from @thespursweb cites Football Insider as the original source of this claim and this comes after they recently published a report in which they suggested that the North London club are keen to get the 30-year-old left-back off their wage bill after he has been ‘frozen out’ of Jose Mourinho’s first-team squad, with Rose even missing out on a place in the Lilywhites’ 25-man Premier League squad.
This article from Football Insider, in which Rose is described as a ‘big-earning star,’ goes on to explain that Tottenham may now offer the £9m-rated player ‘a handsome pay-off to leave’ the club before his contract expires at the end of next June.
So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to this reported news after it was shared on Twitter by @thespursweb?

This claim drew a mixed reaction from Lilywhites supporters. Some Spurs fans replied to this tweet to share that they would be in favour of this, with some stating that they think this would be ‘best for all parties.’

Are you disappointed with the club's treatment of Rose?
YES
NO
As can be seen in these replies to this post, it certainly seems as though Tottenham’s treatment of Rose, who has been at the club since 2007, has divided opinion amongst Spurs fans.
