Ex-Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen caught the attention of many Spurs fans recently after he posted a tweet following Denmark’s 1-0 UEFA Nations League win over England at Wembley Stadium.
Eriksen played the entirety of Wednesday’s game for Denmark and he also scored the only goal of the match as he converted from the penalty spot in the 35th minute to give his side a 1-0 lead which they ultimately retained until the end of the contest.
This game saw the 28-year-old make his 100th appearance for the Danish national team and in his post-match tweet, he celebrated earning his 100th cap as well as his goal and his side’s victory over the Three Lions.

Plenty of Spurs supporters replied to this tweet from the £54m-rated player, who was sold to Serie A side Internazionale by Tottenham back in January for £24.3m, to congratulate him on his goal and praise his performance in this recent international game.
Well done, Christian! Congrats on the 100th cap and really chuffed you got the goal tonight!

I’m so happy for you, as a Spurs fan who has always loved you I was jumping up and down when you scored that penalty even against my own country’s team. Come back to us one day please?

Would you take Eriksen back at Spurs?
YES
NO
Plenty of Tottenham fans clearly still have some positive feelings towards the Dane and seemingly appreciate him for what he did during his time at the north London club.
