How well can you remember the last few weeks of Spurs action? 1. Which played scored a hattrick against Maccabi Haifa?

One of the topics that Cowlin talked about was Spurs’ chances of winning a trophy this season, and it seems as if the Spurs podcaster is very confident that his team will win a trophy this year.

Tottenham are unbeaten in all competitions since they lost 1-0 to Everton in the Premier League on the opening weekend of the season, and it seems as if that has made Cowlin very confident that Spurs will finally win something.

It seems as if Cowlin thinks that the combination of Jose Mourinho and the current Spurs squad will win Tottenham a trophy this season.

He said: “I am highly confident that Tottenham are going to lift a trophy this season; I am sure we are.

“The squad that we have got and the depth that we have got at the moment and with Jose Mourinho in charge, it has to happen.”

Is this too early to be making a prediction like that?

TIF Thoughts on Cowlin’s Tottenham trophy claim…

Spurs have not won a trophy since 2008 when they won the League Cup, and now Cowlin thinks that after five league games, one Europa League group game, and one Carabao Cup game that Spurs are going to win a trophy.

Now, Jose Mourinho is a born winner and has won many trophies in his time as a manager; however, we think it is a bit early in the season to be making statements like this.

Spurs have put in some impressive performances this season; they thrashed both Southampton and Manchester United; however, they also failed to beat Newcastle United and were 3-0 up against West Ham United and ended up drawing 3-3.

So, they have struggled in a few games; therefore, we think making a trophy prediction right now is a bold move from Cowlin, and we will have to see if he is right at the end of the season.
