How well can you remember the last few weeks of Spurs action? 1. Which played scored a hattrick against Maccabi Haifa?

On the topic of potential January transfers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Gold had this to say on the matter.

He said: “I think they’ll probably look at that centre-back position and see whether, like I said, those options have proved to be enough, but [Mourinho] did sound like this is going to be his squad for this season, so let’s see what happens there.

“I think there’ll be a few outgoings in January, anyway.”

Looking back to the previous transfer window, Spurs brought in the likes of Gareth Bale, Joe Hart, Sergio Reguilon, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Joe Rodon, Matt Doherty and Carlos Vinicius to strengthen their squad.

So far this season, Spurs have had a mixed bag of results in the Premier League but have managed to win all of their Europa League qualifying matches and make their way through to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup (per Transfermarkt).

TIF Thoughts on Alasdair Gold’s comments on the upcoming January transfer window…

Listening to what Gold had to say in his latest YouTube video, it would appear that Spurs fans shouldn’t get their hopes up too much about the possibility of some new incoming signings in January.

Given how many players the club brought in during the previous transfer window, they may not necessarily need to sign any new players in January unless something changes before then.

On the other side of things, it will be interesting to see which current Spurs players could potentially leave the club in January as Gold suggested.
