A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from their club, which contains a link to an article on their website with information on season ticket refunds.
The article states that the Toon are going to start providing refunds to fans while they cannot attend games.
This is because fans have continued to have money taken from them for this season despite the games being played behind closed doors.
This post has drawn the attention of these Newcastle fans, who are happy with this news.
So, what did these Newcastle fans make of this news?
Some Newcastle fans were pleased with the move from their club, though some reacted to what was positively received by the fanbase by requesting for the club to complete a takeover from Saudi Arabia’s PIF, which pulled out of a Toon takeover bid back in July.
Well done MA, better late then never. My Owner??

Are you happy about this?
Yes, this is good news
No, took too long
This move to refund supporters follows Mike Ashley’s statement slamming the pay-per-view price of £14.95 and demanding that the Premier League lowers it.
While the Toon’s owner has also hired legal assistance in his battle to get the proposed takeover of Newcastle by PCP Capital Partners, PIF and the Reuben brothers through.
However, some Newcastle fans are annoyed at the time taken for them to get their money back.
Only the 6 months late…..?

Late to the party as always, joke of a club ??.

It does seem ridiculous that Newcastle fans were still being charged for games they couldn’t attend, so it is good to see that the club have decided to begin providing refunds to some fans, while the wait for the return of fans goes on.
