Fans of Newcastle United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed the comments of new club signing, Florent Indalecio.
In The Chronicle’s tweet, which also linked to an article on the Chronicle Live website, the account relayed comments made by new signing Indalecio, in which he stated: “I love football, I play with passion. If Newcastle want to sign me for free I’ll play for free. It’s not a problem.”
So, what did these Newcastle United fans have to say in reaction to Florent Indalecio’s comments?
Careful you don't give Ashley any ideas

According to The Mag, as youngsters, current Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin and Indalecio were teammates at French side Saint Etienne, however, after the forward was released ‘due to his behaviour’, he went on a series of unsuccessful trials at teams in America and Australia, before Saint-Maximin ‘invited his friend over’ to Newcastle and ‘set him up with a trial’ at the club.
Do you expect Florent Indalecio to ever feature for the Newcastle first team?
Yes
No
Indalecio reportedly impressed during this trial period, and Newcastle have now offered the 23-year-old a contract which keeps him at the club until the end of the season.
This is a very #NUFC signing.

All in all, it would appear that many of these Newcastle fans feel that the club’s decision to sign Indalecio is a very strange move indeed, and, we have to say, we are of a similar frame of mind.
