A lot of Newcastle United fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by @NUFC360 that saw them quote-tweet a post from football finance expert Kieran Maguire, in which he relayed an exclusive report from The Guardian that claims the Premier League withheld information regarding Project Big Picture from top-flight clubs outside of the ‘big six.’

This report states that earlier this month, the Premier League ‘held a meeting with the big six clubs to discuss the fallout from the publication of the Project Big Picture proposals without informing all 14 other clubs’ before another meeting of all Premier League clubs was scheduled to be held a day later.

It is said that some of the Premier League clubs outside of the ‘big six’ are unhappy that the top-flight’s chairman, Gary Hoffman, and chief executive, Richard Masters, didn’t keep them in the loop with regard to Project Big Picture.

So, how did these Newcastle United fans react to @NUFC360’s tweet relaying this reported claim about the Premier League?

Many of the Toon supporters who replied to this tweet slated the Premier League over this news, with some taking this opportunity to share that they think the English top-flight is corrupt.
