A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from Seb Stafford-Bloor that contains his opinion on what Steve Bruce needs to do with the current set of Toon players.
The journalist suggested that as soon as Newcastle took the lead against Manchester United, they were simply waiting to lose.
This has drawn the attention of many Toon fans, who are fuming with Bruce.
So, what did these Toon fans make of Stafford-Bloor’s tweet?
Do you agree with Stafford-Bloor?
Yes, he has to find a better way to play
No, everything is fine
Want him gone, absolutely clueless. Can’t move forward with Ashley at the club, can’t enjoy the football with managing the players.

This has been the case since the beginning of last season. You’re luck runs out and you need to be progressive with a strategy. I haven’t seen anything like that from Bruce unfortunately!

Atrocious manager who gets a free pass for being English

Newcastle were gifted an early lead as Emil Krafth’s cross was deflected into his own net by Luke Shaw in the first two minutes of the game.
However, they didn’t build on that lead and instead ended up losing 4-1 to Manchester United.
The statistics made for grim reading as the Toon conceded 28 shots with 14 on target, so you can see Stafford-Bloor’s point.
His post continued to draw the attention of many Toon fans who expressed their feelings on Bruce.
Hopefully learns to hand his notice in

Steve Bruce needs to be sacked. He wont learn.

He’s not capable of it, he has the tools but isnt brave enough to have a go. And most the media think we’re daft to want rid of him

So far this season, Newcastle have seven points in the league and are into the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Still, considering in their Premier League game before they played the Toon, the Red Devils were thumped 6-1 by Tottenham Hotspur; perhaps the home side could have caused them more problems, especially after scoring an early goal.
So, we think Stafford-Bloor makes a rather valid point, and you would think Bruce might have to come up with something else.
Judging by some of the replies, many of these Toon fans don’t think he should be their manager anymore, so we will have to see how he responds next week against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
