A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from Pete Graves that provides his view on what transfer business he thinks Newcastle will do in the remaining days of the transfer window.
One Toon fan asked Graves if there will be any more first-team arrivals and the Sky Sports man claimed that he thinks Newcastle will use their loan quota.
He then stated that he thinks the club are ‘short at CB‘ and that he would ‘love to see a creative CM brought in‘.
This post has drawn the attention of these Newcastle fans who provided some suggestions.
Do you agree with Graves?
Yes, those are the positions we need
No, we need more than that

On Friday morning, Steve Bruce confirmed that he doesn’t expect the Toon to be that busy in the remaining days of the transfer window but that he would be open to bringing in a loan.
Newcastle have signed Callum Wilson, Jamal Lewis, Ryan Fraser, Jeff Hendrick, and Mark Gillespie in this transfer window, and it looks like the only further additions could be loans.
This post from Graves continued to draw the attention of these Newcastle fans.
I just can’t see us bringing in a midfielder. Bruce loves Shelvey and whether we like it or not, he’s not gonna drop him.

Ashley usually love players on loan, surely we will get a couple at least

You can see why Graves claims that the Toon are short at centre-back because Jamaal Lascelles is a doubt for Saturday’s game against Burnley, and Ciaran Clark and Paul Dummett are still out.
This leaves Newcastle with just Fabian Schar and Federico Fernandez (Transfermarkt claims Schar is injured but Bruce says he is fine) as their only fit natural centre-backs, so maybe another centre-back on loan could be a decent addition.
It will be intriguing to see if the Toon do use their loan slots as suggested by Graves or if they will go with what they have got.
