Newcastle United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest comments made by Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez.
This comes after Newcastle news Twitter account @ChronicleNUFC shared a post on their official page that contained an article from their website.
The article relayed comments made by Jimenez to the official Wolves website where he said that Newcastle were “not looking” to win the game between the two teams at the weekend that saw Steve Bruce’s side rescue a point in a 1-1 draw.
As these comments from Jimenez, who is valued at £36 million (as per Transfermarkt), were relayed onto Twitter by @ChronicleNUFC, their post then gathered a lot of replies from Toon fans who were quick to share their thoughts on the Mexican’s words.
So, how did these Newcastle fans respond to the post?

Jimenez opened the scoring against Newcastle to put his team ahead in the second half but it was Jacob Murphy who levelled the scoring and rescued a point for the visitors with a smart free-kick (per BBC Sport).
He’s spot on.

We’re the worst team to watch in the whole league! Zero ambition on & off the pitch every week! Embarrassing!
