Man City fan? We bet you can't get 100% on this Kevin De Bruyne quiz. We'll start you off with an easy one. From which team did Kevin De Bruyne join City?

One of the clubs that McGarry spent some time on was Manchester City and, in particular, the future of Eric Garcia.

In the last transfer window, Garcia was reportedly wanted by Barcelona as they saw him as a replacement for Gerard Pique; however, Barca could not match City’s asking price and the Spaniard remains at the Etihad for now.

McGarry started talking about Garcia because Gerard Pique has recently signed a new deal with Barcelona, and it seems as if Garcia and his representatives were unaware this was going to happen.

It seems as if, according to McGarry, Garcia and his representatives were unaware of Barca’s intention to hand Pique a new deal, when he was told he would replace the former Manchester United man.

He said: “Now, it is our information that Garcia and his representatives learned of Pique’s new contract via the media.

“[They] were not told by Barcelona that they were negotiating with Pique to re-sign him and also that they were quite surprised when they found this out, as the way that his move back to Barcelona had been sold to them was ‘you are the successor to Gerard Pique.'”

Do you think Garcia will stay?

TIF Thoughts on McGarry’s information on Garcia’s future…

The 19-year-old has less than a year left on his contract at City and has played four games this season, while Pep Guardiola hopes to keep him at the Etihad.

Now that Pique has signed a new deal, it remains to be seen whether Garcia ends up staying at City.

Given that Guardiola wants to keep him, we feel that the City boss will be hoping that this news on Pique might make Garcia decide to stay in Manchester rather than returning to Barcelona; however, judging by an article from The Sun, that could be unlikely.

Still, we will have to see what Garcia decides to do.
