Man City fan? We bet you can't get 100% on this Kevin De Bruyne quiz. We'll start you off with an easy one. From which team did Kevin De Bruyne join City?

One of the clubs that Castles spent some time on was Manchester City, and he revealed that City tried to sell Gabriel Jesus to Borussia Dortmund in 2019.

It seems as if City were keen to get rid of Jesus, but the 23-year-old refused to make the move to the Bundesliga, which meant that City couldn’t sign Joao Felix, who joined Atletico Madrid instead of moving to the Etihad Stadium.

He said: “They were ready to sell Jesus last summer to Borussia Dortmund, but the player refused to move.

“They were very interested, and had Jesus gone, would have further pursued their attempt to get Joao Felix from Benfica, who went to Atletico [Madrid] instead.”

Are you pleased this move fell through?

TIF Thoughts on Castles’ information on Jesus potentially moving to Borussia Dortmund…

City signed Jesus for £28.8m in January 2017 and since then he has gone on to make 154 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side in which he has scored 69 goals and provided 30 assists.

However, it looks like City wanted to sell Jesus to Dortmund to buy Felix from Benfica, who had a good 2018/19 season, scoring 20 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions.

Jesus, though, refused to move and made 53 appearances for City last season in which he returned a good total of 23 goals and 14 assists.

However, if City were keen on selling the Brazilian last summer, could they want to do the same soon, and if they do, could Jesus’ time at the Etihad nearly be up?

If they do want to sell him then, this could be one to keep an eye on over the coming months.
