A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a tweet from the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Lee Sobot that has quotes from Scotland manager Steve Clarke, who confirmed that Liam Cooper had picked up an injury and would therefore miss Scotland’s games with Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
It is unclear if he will be fit for the Whites’ game against Wolverhampton Wanderers next Monday.
What exactly did these Leeds fans think of Liam Cooper’s injury update?
Seriously – what is the point of these stupid internationals especially in current times ?

Can’t actually believe this. Llorente and Cooper out.
Beautiful. We all love the International break don’t we. #LUFC https://t.co/GszHS0YZZr

Big blow that. Hopefully he’s okay and it’s not too serious. With no Llorente either it’s looking like ayling and Koch at centre back for the wolves game

There was more bad news for Leeds over the weekend as Spain confirmed that Diego Llorente had also picked up an injury and will miss Spain’s game against Ukraine.
Do you think Cooper will be fit for the Wolves game?
No, he will miss out
Yes, he will be back
If both Cooper and Llorente are injured for the game against Wolves, then Leeds would be left with just Robin Koch, Pascal Struijk, and Oliver Casey as natural centre-backs.
Both Koch and Struijk have made fewer than 10 first-team appearances for Leeds, and the last time they were partnered together, the Whites conceded four against Liverpool on the opening day.
So, you can see why injuries to both Cooper and Llorente could become a problem for Leeds, but at least one Leeds fan is not too bothered, and thinks that the Whites have to accept that with more international players, there could be more injuries.
Internationals we all want them at clubs. Not to long ago I saw our fans celebrating we had players playing at international level, can not have it both way.

It remains to be seen how bad Cooper’s injury is, but he will take no further part for Scotland, so we will just have to see if he is fit to face Wolves.
What is clear, though, is that many Leeds fans are not happy that their captain has picked up an injury on international duty.
