Many Leeds United supporters have flocked to Twitter in order to respond to a post from the club’s new signing, Raphinha.
The Whites completed the signing of the winger from Rennes on deadline day, in a deal reportedly worth £17m plus add ons (as per BBC Sport). The 23-year-old has joined the Yorkshire-based club on a four-year contract and played for the French side as recently as Sunday.
The Brazilian signed for Rennes from Sporting CP back in September 2019 for £20.7m (as per Transfermarkt) and during his time there, he scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 36 appearances.
Following the announcement he is now a Leeds United player, here is how a sample of the Elland Road faithful responded to his post on social media.

It’s clear from the above responses that these Leeds fans are delighted to have Raphinha at the club and shared words of encouragement with the 23-year-old. Last season, the winger made 22 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring five goals and providing his teammates with three assists.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in their next Premier League fixture following the international break and it will be interesting to see whether Leeds’ new signing will be called upon by his new boss straight away.
