A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a post from James Marshment that has relayed news from Alfredo Pedulla, who claims that the Whites have rejected the chance to sign Douglas Costa from Juventus (Alfredo Pedulla via Sport Witness).
The Brazilian is no longer wanted by the Old Lady and Pedulla claims that Leeds are not keen on the move.
This has drawn the attention of these Leeds fans who are happy their club is not signing the 30-year-old.
Are you happy about this?
No, we should be all over this
Yes, not right for Bielsa
Hype job. Good in patches with hardly any consistency. Add in his attitude, wages and the fact he spits in opponents faces and I think we’d be best avoiding tbh lol

and they’d be spot on to reject it, if it is true. huge wages. very hit and miss.

He is always injured so I don’t blame us

Costa has played for the likes of Bayern Munich and Juventus, but last season injuries hit him as he only made 23 league appearances.
Hope this isn’t true https://t.co/9skAf4xBZi

The Whites are close to signing Michael Cuisance and are still in the market for a winger, but it looks like they won’t be signing Costa in this transfer window.
However, the club is supposedly interested in Dan James and that could be the one to keep an eye on as the transfer window approaches its conclusion.
Costa has won 31 caps for Brazil and has made 70 Champions League appearances, but perhaps the fact that many fans of a newly promoted Premier League side don’t want him shows just how much injuries are causing him problems.
Juventus are said to be keen to get rid of him because of these injury issues, but many Leeds fans clearly are not keen on the idea of him moving to Elland Road.
