Who did Leeds sign from a La Liga side in September?

The Portuguese manager continued by stating that he ‘felt his side answered the questions’ regarding their ‘fitness & energy to stay in the game’ and that they showed their ‘character’ to go on and win the fixture, which finished 1-0.

So, what did these Leeds United fans make of Nuno Espirito Santo’s comments regarding the match?

It would appear that these Leeds fans do seem to think that their side did not play to the best of their ability in the fixture against Wolves, which saw the Whites take 13 shots at goal, with only two being on target.

Bielsa’s side did have a great deal of the ball in the fixture, finishing the match with 68% possession in comparison to Wolves’ 32%, however, despite this, it was Nuno Espirito Santo’s side who went on to take all three points from the match, with Raul Jimenez’s deflected strike on 70 minutes being enough to seal the win.

And, many more Leeds fans took to Twitter in reaction to Pope’s tweet containing the comments of the Wolves boss, with a great deal of them also appearing to think that their club did not play well in the match.

All in all, it would seem the majority of these Leeds fans are somewhat in agreement with Nuno Espirito Santo’s remarks about the game, however, others stated their belief that Wolves got slightly lucky in the fixture, and that Leeds did not deserve to lose.

However, with the Whites sitting comfortably in 10th place in the Premier League table, having won two, drawn one and lost two of their five league fixtures this season, this loss to Wolves is far from a disaster for Bielsa’s side.
