Plenty of Leeds United fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Daily Mirror reporter David Anderson in which he issued an update on a possible Leeds move for either Norwich City’s Todd Cantwell or Derby County’s Louie Sibley.
Leeds still have until Friday to do business with EFL clubs and they have been linked with Cantwell of late, while Sibley is also said to be on their radar as a potential alternative to the Norwich City man.
However, in his recent tweet, Anderson ruled out a move from Leeds for either of these two players due to a lack of transfer funds, though the journalist did state that the Yorkshire-based club will ‘continue to track’ the two players.
A lot of Whites supporters replied to Anderson’s tweet to share their thoughts on this claim.
Leeds will not move for Norwich’s Todd Cantwell or Derby’s Louie Sibley before Friday’s domestic transfer deadline because they don’t have the cash to fund either deal after splashing out £100m already on signings. They will continue to track them. #lufc

Many of the Leeds supporters who replied to the journalist’s tweet shared that they would be fine with their club not signing either of these two players.
Fair enough, cant argue witg the commitment, cant say im too bithered not getting these 2 either.

However, not all Whites fans were content with this update, with one Leeds fan sharing that they think it would be ‘risky’ for their club not to sign either of these two players.
I understand it. But #lufc are very short in the CM area. Any I juries and we are in trouble. Risky https://t.co/p58mOrVUMM

Meanwhile, one particular Leeds supporter shared some doubt about this claim from Anderson, stating that they ‘don’t believe this’ while another Whites fan asked the reporter to share how he knows this.
Sorry, I don’t believe this David. We bid 15m on deadline day. For jose campana!

How do you know?

Will you be upset if Leeds don't sign either of these two players?
YES
NO
So, while some Leeds fans seemed sceptical about this update from Anderson and one particular Whites supporter seemed somewhat concerned by the reporter’s claim, it seems as though plenty of Whites fans would be fine with their club not signing either of these two players before Friday’s domestic transfer deadline.
