Many Leeds United supporters have flocked to social media in order to react to a Twitter post from the BBC’s Adam Pope.
The Whites will face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League in a few days’ time, and following the news that Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for the virus, Pope has delivered an update on Nuno Espirito Santo’s Portuguese contingent.
According to the broadcaster, the ‘Portuguese FA say all of the other Portugal players, other than Ronaldo, have tested negative ahead of the game v Sweden’.
Here is how a sample of the Elland Road faithful have responded to the update:
I look at the mess the NFL has got itself into, with one player testing positive and the rest of the team playing and resulting in spreading to other teams.
Need to be very careful

Surely they’ll have to isolate before rejoining the Wolves squad? Incubation can be several days.

That’ll be Leeds vs wolves off then

I think it’s only fair that all those players self isolate until at least Tuesday next week!

Do you think Leeds United vs Wolves is in danger of being postponed?
Yes
No
Whilst some fans expressed their concerns regarding the danger of the virus being spread, some Leeds supporters spotted a typing error in Pope’s tweet in which ‘Moutinho’ was spelt as ‘Mourinho’, and took the opportunity to point it out.

It’s not yet clear whether some of the Wolves players will be required to isolate when they return from international duty and if that will have any impact on the fixture between the two clubs this coming Monday.
