A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a post from their club that confirms that Robbie Gotts has joined Lincoln City on loan until the end of the season.
Included in the tweet, there is a link to an article on Leeds’ website that confirms the move.
Gotts was linked with a move to a few clubs and, in particular, Huddersfield Town, but, in the end, he has moved to a League One club, which has surprised these Leeds fans.
So, what did these Leeds fans make of Gotts’ move to Lincoln City?
Do you think this is a good move for Gotts?
Yes, it is exactly what he needs
No, should be playing at a higher level
Quite surprised he’s gone to league one. Thought he’d be at a championship club.

I’m surprised a championship team didn’t go in for him.

Gotts made his first-team debut for Leeds earlier this year in the Whites’ 1-0 defeat in the FA Cup to Arsenal, and he also played in the Carabao Cup defeat to Hull City this season.
However, the decision has been taken that Gotts should continue his development out on loan, and Lincoln have picked him up before the close of the domestic transfer window.
This news has pleased these Leeds fans who hold high hopes for the 20-year-old in the future.
Good luck, @RobbieGotts! Have a terrific season, lad.

Marcelo Bielsa has personally praised Gotts before, which could suggest that he rates the 20-year-old highly, and maybe when he comes back from his loan, he will be ready to compete in the first-team.
However, for now, he will just have to try and get first-team football for Lincoln, and it is clear that these Whites fans are hoping he does well, which is nice to see.
