A lot of Celtic fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by the Hoops’ official Twitter account which shares the news that Celtic’s Europa League qualification playoff clash with FK Sarajevo will be ‘shown exclusively live in the UK and Ireland’ on the club’s virtual season ticket called the ‘Pass to Paradise’.
The Glasgow-based club will take on Sarajevo on Thursday to earn a place in the Europa League group stages.
As per the Daily Record, no broadcaster had been set to show this match, however, now, the club has confirmed that Celtic season ticket holders will be able to watch the game via the Pass to Paradise.
After this news was shared by the club’s official Twitter account, plenty of Celtic supporters replied to their post to react to this update.

However, not all of the Glasgow-based club’s fans were happy about this update.
One particular Hoops supporter declared that they don’t think this is very good news for Celtic fans who don’t have a season ticket and another Celtic fan shared that they are ‘very against’ this decision.
No very good for the 1000’s who don’t have ST

Very against. People pay loads of money for bt sports and premier sports to watch the European games, as well as buy club merchandise and even season tickets yet they can’t show the penultimate game either on a tv platform or Celtic tv but free of charge? Money grabbing as per. https://t.co/zzOe8rsnwt

So, judging by these Celtic fans’ reactions to this update, while some Hoops supporters were not happy about this, it seems as though this news has been met with a largely positive response from Celtic supporters.
Considering that there was some uncertainty about whether or not Celtic fans would be able to watch this game at all, we feel it’s not a surprise that many of the club’s fans reacted positively to this announcement.
