Fabrizio Romano has been speaking on the latest edition of his Here We Go podcast.
He has been talking about many transfer stories for a lot of Premier League clubs and one of the players and topics he spent some time on was Declan Rice.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the course of this transfer window, and the journalist revealed what Rice thinks about moving to Chelsea, and from a West Ham point of view, it doesn’t sound good.
It seems as if, though, Rice respects the Hammers, he will ask to leave the London Stadium, and it looks like he has his heart set on a move to Stamford Bridge.
He said: “Declan Rice wants to join Chelsea.
“He’s desperate to join Chelsea, Frank Lampard wants him.
“If you talk with West Ham, they say the player is staying, he’s not moving – so it won’t be easy.
“Declan Rice will push to join Chelsea – so we have to see what will happen because he also respects West Ham, but he’s going to say to West Ham ‘I want to join Chelsea.'”

Rice has played both of the Hammers’ Premier League games so far this season and has made 111 appearances for the club.
However, it looks like he now wants to move to Chelsea, though, the Blues have not tabled a bid (24:26) for the England international yet.
West Ham have had a pretty grim summer, having only signed Tomas Soucek, and he was on loan with the Hammers last season anyway.
Many of their fans were not happy when Grady Diangana was sold, so could the reaction be worse if Rice is sold as well?
We will have to wait and see, but if Romano is correct, then Rice has had enough of the London Stadium and wants that move to Chelsea.
It will be intriguing to see if this transfer happens before the deadline.
