Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a reported transfer rumour regarding Inter defender Milan Skriniar, which suggests that Fulham are now interested in signing him.
According to Charlie Wyett in The Sun (via Daily Hotspur), Scott Parker’s side has now joined the race to sign the Slovakia international, with Spurs having been in talks with Inter over his transfer of late.
It has been suggested that the 25-year-old is Jose Mourinho’s top target to sign before the transfer window shuts next week but it now seems as if they could face competition for his signing, as Fulham reportedly want to add the centre-back to their side.
Following their promotion from the Championship last season, the London club has endured a difficult start to life back in the top flight, having lost all three of their opening fixtures, conceding 10 goals in the process (per BBC).
Therefore, you can see why they would want to add a centre-back to their ranks, although Skriniar may be an optimistic target, with the former Sampdoria man currently valued at £45 million by Transfermarkt and with Fulham’s record transfer fee paid currently standing at £27 million.

Overall, it seems that a lot of Spurs fans found this report amusing and feel there is very little chance of Skriniar opting to join Fulham.
