Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a reported update on Cameron Carter-Vickers, which suggests that Bournemouth have made a loan bid for the centre-back.
According to Football Insider (via Talking THFC), the Cherries have made an approach for the 22-year-old defender, with Tottenham having told the youngster that he can find a new club before the transfer window shuts.
Jason Tindall’s side are arguably in need of a centre-back following Nathan Ake’s move to Manchester City earlier in the transfer window, and Carter-Vickers comes with plenty of Championship experience, having spent time on loan with the likes of Stoke City, Swansea City, Sheffield United and Luton Town in the past (per Transfermarkt).
The USA international has made just four senior appearances for the Lilywhites in his career thus far, and his contract is set to run out next summer (per Transfermarkt), so you can certainly understand why he may have been told to find a new club.
However, after he impressed on loan with Luton last season, helping the Hatters to avoid relegation, perhaps a strong loan spell with a side such as Bournemouth would convince those within the Spurs hierarchy to extend his contract and give him more of a chance in the first-team.
What would you do with Carter-Vickers?

Sell him, I don’t think there’s been any improvement and couldn’t lace any of our current CB’s boots.

Plenty of Spurs fans seem to feel that the 22-year-old should just be sold rather than loaned out to Bournemouth.

Overall, it seems as if the majority of Spurs fans want to see Carter-Vickers sold permanently this summer.
