Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to an update from football.london journalist Alasdair Gold regarding Heung-min Son, which suggests that the South Korean has picked up a hamstring injury.
The journalist confirmed on Twitter that Jose Mourinho had told him that the former Bayer Leverkusen man picked up a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw against Newcastle United on Sunday and that he could be sidelined for a while.
The 28-year-old has started the season in sensational form for Spurs, having contributed five goals in five games in all competitions, averaging a superb 8.10 rating for his performances in the Premier League (per Whoscored).
However, he was replaced at half-time in the draw against Steve Bruce’s side and it now seems as if he will be missing from Spurs’ first team for quite a while, which is certainly not good news for the Lilywhites, considering their hectic schedule.
Fortunately for Mourinho, he has a number of options available to him on the wing, with Gareth Bale also expected to be back fit in the coming weeks. So, hopefully, for Spurs fans, they won’t miss Son too much while he is out injured.
Is Son going to be a big miss for Spurs?

We HAVE TO sign a striker. Three more games this week, Son injured, and Harry having a few close calls today. We can’t keep this up.
