Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been talking about the latest tweet that Harry Kane recently relayed on social media.

Kane recently quote-tweeted a post from the Leyton Orient Twitter account. The club’s initial tweet said that their shop has earned over £20k in sales since Tuesday morning. The tweet thanked Spurs fans for their generosity and even had a link that had Kane’s image.

Fans have now donated children’s kits to boost local charities and Spurs fans have also played a part in this. Kane had agreed to sponsor the club’s kits for the 2020/21 campaign. The donations will go to Whipps’ Cross Hospital and Haven House Children’s Hospice, who are two of Orient’s partners from Kane’s shirt sponsorship.

This comes after a Carabao Cup clash involving Spurs and Leyton Orient was called off as 17 players from the League Two club had tested positive amid the current pandemic. Since the game was to be televised, Orient were to earn £150,000 from the tie but they missed out on that money.

Kane relayed the post from Leyton Orient and tweeted some hands up emojis with it. The Englishman’s tweet caught the attention of many Spurs fans, who made their feelings clear about the striker.

Kane recently picked up four assists in Spurs’ 5-2 win over Southampton in their Premier League meeting this past weekend. He scored one goal and helped the club pick up their first win of the new league season (as per Transfermarkt).

He had scored once in the club’s 2-1 win over Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League as well. Some other Spurs fans also raved about the English striker’s latest tweet.

Spurs fans clearly love Kane’s act of helping the League Two club and they are making their admiration very clear for the 27-year-old.

Orient have now quadrupled the usual amount that they get from shirt sales – something that can help them considering how they lost out on £150,000 because of the League Cup clash being called off. So it is good to see that the fans are pleased as this is certainly a feel-good story.
