Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been discussing a Twitter post from @Daily_Hotspur in which they relayed a report from the Telegraph which claims Jose Mourinho’s side is continuing to keep tabs on Joshua King as they step up their search for a striker.
Currently, Harry Kane is the only recognised centre-forward in the first-team squad and, therefore, it is understandable why they may want to add further depth in that position between now and when the transfer window closes.
King made 26 appearances for Bournemouth in the Premier League last season, scoring six goals and contributing four assists (as per WhoScored.com). His average performance rating was a relatively solid 6.76/10.
Here is how a sample of the Lilywhites faithful have responded to this update via the social media platform.
You need to give up reporting on Tottenham & Strikers. The worst club in England for buying strikers. They haven’t got a clue ?

Would you be happy with Joshua King coming to Spurs?
Yes
No
It’s clear from the above responses that these fans are unhappy with the club due to their failure to add to the striking department so far.
However, some were more optimistic about the possibility of King swapping the South coast for North London.
I’d take King, he’s lightening fast

According to Transfermarkt, the 28-year-old is valued at £14.4m but it remains to be seen whether the club will progress their reported interest into something more concrete.
