Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays the news that Spurs have made Ryan Sessegnon available for loan.
According to a report by Alasdair Gold for Football.london, following the £27 million arrival of Sergio Reguilon, Sessegnon has been made available for loan ‘in order to get him first-team minutes’ and to ‘help him restore his confidence’ as well as helping to ‘encourage his development’, with the aim of him eventually returning to the club and challenging for the left-back position.
After this news was relayed on Twitter by Daily Hotspur, fans of Spurs flocked to have their say on the matter, with some not appearing overly convinced that loaning the player out would be a good idea for the club.

Nah nah nah I want to see him this season

Sessegnon arrived at Spurs last summer in a £24.3 million deal – only slightly less than the figure the club recently paid for Reguilon.
The 20-year-old went on to make just six Premier League appearances for Spurs last term, averaging a disappointing WhoScored match rating of 6.32.
However, the England U21 international did perform marginally better over his three appearances in last season’s Champions League, over which he scored one goal and provided one assist and averaged a WhoScored match rating of 6.55.
In stark contrast to the previous fans, however, some of the Tottenham Hotspur faithful seem to feel that a loan move would be good for the youngster, while others even went as far as to say the club shouldn’t have signed Sessegnon in the first place.
Would you be happy to see Ryan Sessegnon leave the club on a loan deal?
Yes
No
Should sell him and Foyth and put sell on clauses in both deals. £30m and £15m plus 10% future sale

Correct decision, he needs the game time especially with Reguilon coming into the team

I got roasted for saying we shouldn’t sign him. What a complete waste of money.

All in all, it would appear that opinion is somewhat split as to whether or not a loan spell would be good for the £22.5 million-rated Sessegnon.
However, considering the fact that Spurs have just signed Reguilon, as well already having Ben Davies and, although it would appear as if he will not be involved with the first-team much longer, Danny Rose in the squad as options at left-back, it is our opinion that, with the left-back position extremely crowded at present, a loan away from the club could be good for the development of Sessegnon.
