Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report claiming that Paris Saint-Germain are in negotiations to sign Dele Alli.

According to RMC Sport, PSG continue ‘to negotiate with Tottenham’ in attempts ‘to obtain the loan of Dele Alli’, although they state that the French side’s ‘talks are not easy with Spurs’.

The report continues by stating that Alli’s relationship with Jose Mourinho is ‘fairly fresh’, and that Daniel Levy ‘holds the key’ to the deal going ahead.

After this report was relayed on Twitter by Last Word On Spurs, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating that they would be happy to see the back of the £57.6 million-rated 24-year-old.

Alli joined Spurs from Milton Keynes Dons in what was a £5.97 million deal back in 2015 and has since gone on to feature 224 times for the club, scoring 62 goals and providing 55 assists along the way.

However, after being substituted at half time in the club’s first Premier League game of the season, a 1-0 loss against Everton, the England international has been left out of Mourinho’s squad for their league fixtures against Southampton and Newcastle United.

Despite this fact, other Spurs fans, in stark contrast to the previous comments, do not want their club to let Alli go, and made their feelings known on Twitter.

All in all, it would seem that the opinion of Spurs fans is rather split as to whether they would like to see their club let Alli leave.
