1. Spurs signed Alfie Devine from which League One club?

The article claims that Spurs are set to offer a bid of over €50 million (£46 million) to try and lure Torino striker Andrea Belotti to the north London club.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest transfer link.

Here’s a sample of Spurs fans responding to the post:

The 26-year-old, who is currently valued at £31.5 million, signed to Torino back in the 2015 summer transfer window from Palermo for a fee of £7.56 million.

Since then, the Italian has made a total of 192 appearances for the club in which he has racked up an impressive total of 92 goals and 19 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

The 2019/20 Serie A season saw Belotti in hot form after earning himself a season rating of 7.12/10 for his performances across 36 league appearances he made for Torino last season, scoring 16 goals in the process (per WhoScored).

Are you confident Spurs could sign Belotti before the window shuts?

Now that this Spurs news account has shared this latest piece of transfer news onto Twitter, this opened the door for lots of Spurs fans to share their thoughts on the potential deal.

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Spurs fans are not over the moon about being linked with Belotti. They also don’t seem too confident the club will land the striker if they are indeed interested in signing him during the current transfer window.

Taking into account his impressive goalscoring record for Torino, you would think that Belotti would be a useful attacking threat for the club if he were to make the move to Spurs, though it is also understandable that they are sceptical over their team laying out such a heavy sum on the player.
