How well can you remember the last week of Spurs action? 1. Who scored Spurs' first goal in the win against KF Shkendija?

On the subject of some potential incoming transfers the north London club could make before the current summer transfer window closes next week, Ornstein had this to say on the club’s interest in King.

He said: “One that’s been linked, not for the first time, is Josh King at Bournemouth, we’ll see because Bournemouth, I think, have brought in all the money they needed for this particular transfer window in the sales already with Callum Wilson, Nathan Ake and then obviously, Ryan Fraser left on a free but they will hold out for a decent offer.

“I think King will be sweating on a move because he would have imagined one would have taken place, it will need to be the right price for Bournemouth.”

Bournemouth signed the Norwegian on a free transfer from Championship side Blackburn Rovers back in the 2015 summer transfer window.

Since then, the 28-year-old, who is currently valued at £14.4 million, has made a total of 171 appearances for Bournemouth in which he has scored 50 goals and provided 17 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

 TIF Thoughts…

With 48 of King’s 50 goals for Bournemouth coming in the Premier League, this shows that he has what it takes to be a goalscoring threat in the top flight.

With the transfer window closing next week, Spurs will have to work quickly if they want to make a deal with Bournemouth to sign King.

However, with Bournemouth having already sold a number of players in this window, they could potentially be reluctant to allow King to leave as well.
