Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a reported update on Ryan Sessegnon and his future at Tottenham Hotspur.
According to the Daily Mail (via Hotspur Related), the 20-year-old is expected to leave on loan should the Lilywhites complete the signing of Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon. The report suggests that the North London club are almost certain to sanction a loan move for the former Fulham man, despite recent reports suggesting that the England U’21 international had been earmarked for a major role in the 2020/21 campaign by Jose Mourinho.
The likes of Fulham and Ajax had been linked with loan moves for the youngster earlier in the window, so should Spurs sign Reguilon, perhaps we will see him depart the Lilywhites on loan during the current window, as you would imagine that the Spanish international and Ben Davies would compete for the starting role at left-back in Mourinho’s squad.
Do you think Sessegnon should leave on loan?

Rumour earlier in the summer was Ajax wanted him. Would be an amazing loan.

A good premier league loan would do him the world of good

Plenty of Spurs fans seem to agree that a good loan move for Sessegnon could be really beneficial.
Makes sense….

This would be great for his development. He clearly has the talent but seems to lack the confidence.

Sess to Ajax would be huge. Or maybe Benfica. Jan can work with him. Not the exact position but so much knowledge to share.

A loan to Ajax with him playing at LB would be absolutely ideal for him, he can come back next summer and him and Reguilon share responsibilities https://t.co/FkvGYotgHy

Overall, it seems as if the majority of Spurs fans feel that Sessegnon leaving on loan would be a smart move, provided that he can get regular football and return as a much more confident player.
