Spurs fans on Twitter have flocked to a post from Harry Kane following the 3-1 win against KF Shkendija on Thursday evening.
The England captain came off the bench to score his third goal of the season and secure the win for Jose Mourinho’s side, to set up a fixture against Maccabi Haifa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next Thursday (per BBC). Following the game, the 27-year-old posted on Twitter, saying: ‘Job done’, accompanied by a picture of him heading in the goal in North Macedonia, which has attracted the attention of a lot of Lilywhites supporters.
The Spurs academy graduate spent a significant period out injured last season with a hamstring injury, but was still able to score 24 goals in all competitions (per WhoScored). Considering he has three goals in his first four games for the Lilywhites this season, he will no doubt be hoping to stay injury-free and beat his tally from last term.
Will Kane score more goals than last season?
