Spurs fans on Twitter have flocked to a tweet from Football.london journalist Alasdair Gold sharing the details of their Europa League qualifying draw.

The north London club were drawn away to Lokomotiv Plovdiv earlier this week and should they progress past the Bulgarian side, they will face one of Botosani or Shkëndija in the third qualifying round. The second qualifying round match against Plovdiv is set to take place on 17th September, with the winners of that game travelling to either Romania or Macedonia in the next round a week later.

Which player scored Spurs' first goal of the Premier League campaign?

This will no doubt result in an incredibly hectic schedule for Jose Mourinho’s side, and the Portuguese manager will perhaps be forced to make use of a lot of younger players in his squad during the 2020/21 campaign. Considering the 57-year-old won the Europa League in his last job with Manchester United, he will surely be keen to try and win it with the Lilywhites and end their long wait for a major trophy.

Do you think this is ridiculous?

Many Spurs fans are not happy with the update with Gold.

Overall, it seems as if the majority of Spurs fans are angry with the draw and feel that the club was very unlucky getting two away ties.
