Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports regarding one of the club’s summer transfer targets, Toulouse’s defensive midfielder, Ibrahim Sangare.

The report by Foot Mercato (via TranSPURS) states that the midfielder is entering the final year of his contract with the French side and that the club would be willing to let him leave for a figure between €8-10 million (£7.1-8.9 million) this summer. The north London club have been linked with a move for the Toulouse ace earlier in the transfer window, suggesting that he could be a viable option for Jose Mourinho’s side this summer.

Last season, the defensive midfielder featured 25 times in Ligue 1 for Les Violets, averaging 3.5 tackles, 1.6 interceptions and 1.9 clearances per game, as well as averaging 50.6 passes per match with a 78.7% success rate, culminating in an average WhoScored match rating of 6.77/10.

Many more Spurs fans took to Twitter showing their support of the club making a move for the Ivory Coast international this summer.
