During the 2019/20 season, Skriniar made 32 league appearances for Inter in which he earned a 6.61/10 average rating (per WhoScored).

Had the defender earned the same average rating for Spurs in the Premier League last season, then he would have been their joint-11th-worst performer.

However, during the 2017/18 Serie A season, Skriniar showed he is capable of consistently delivering good performances after he earned a 7.20/10 average rating over 38 league appearances.

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs fans, many were left delighted after the transfer report regarding the Slovakian defender emerged.
