Spurs fans: How well can you remember the last week of THFC action? - 1. Who scored Spurs' first goal of the season?

Veal claimed that the north London club does not expect Alli to leave Spurs during the current summer transfer window despite recent reports linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update.

Here’s a sample of Spurs fans responding to the post:

Spurs signed the 24-year-old back in February 2015 from MK Dons for a fee of £5.97 million. Since then, the Englishman has gone on to make 223 appearances for the Lilywhites in which he has managed to score 62 goals and provide 55 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Alli, who is currently valued at £57.6 million, made 25 Premier League appearances for Spurs in their 2019/20 campaign, in which he earned himself a season rating of 6.87/10 for his performances (per WhoScored).

Now that this update from Veal has emerged, this paved the way for lots of Spurs fans to share their thoughts on the matter.

However, there were some Spurs fans responding to the post who were quite keen to see the Englishman leave the club in the coming weeks.
